v0.16.5: observation alarm
Open Alarm settings to select a station, delay and schedule, then choose a built-in sound or upload an MP3/WAV up to 1 MB. Preview the sound and Save settings. Alarm is OFF by default. A reminder means no matching Validate entry was recorded, including reports with findings. Keep the page open and the computer awake.
Carried forward from v0.16.4
If an exact six-hour amount is below a saved exact intermediate three-hour amount within that period at the same station, the validator gives a warning asking you to review both entries. It compares exact amounts, not rounded rainfall codes. Three-hour amounts are never added again to the six-hour total.
The exact rainfall field appears directly below the checkbox only when checked. Matching current-period rainfall auto-selects it: intermediate Section 3 6RRR7; main 06/12/18 UTC Section 1 6RRR1; 00 UTC Section 5 2RRRR for 18-24 UTC. 24-hour totals do not select it. Manual overrides persist while matching groups are unchanged. T and Trace are accepted. Both captions use 3 hours for intermediate reports and 6 hours for main reports. Exact intermediate amounts are stored separately and checked against Section 3 6RRR7 without adding them again to six-hour totals. Saved rainfall review opens in a popup. At 00 UTC it shows the preceding UTC day; otherwise it shows the current day so far. Exact six-hour amounts are summed once. Intermediate rainfall evidence is saved separately and checks the next matching main report and 00 UTC total without selecting the weather checkbox. Missing amounts remain missing; incomplete records cannot verify a total. The downloadable PDF includes the current updates and retained baseline rules.
